We’ve just had every window and door in our home replaced by VL Windows, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the whole process was smooth, well-organised, and stress-free. The team on site were incredibly respectful, tidy, and efficient – they treated our home as if it were their own, and left everything spotless at the end of each day. Communication throughout the project was excellent, and we always felt informed and confident about what was happening next. A special mention to Mike, who was a huge help when we were deciding between French doors and bifolds. He offered his professional opinion in a friendly, non-pushy way, and ultimately guided us toward a choice that suits the space perfectly. We’re so glad we took his advice! The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding, and we’ve had so many compliments already. We hired VL to install windows throughout our entire house in October 2022, with some replacements following a fire in January 2024. While the team was friendly and the price was reasonable, our overall experience has been disappointing. On the positive side, the installers were lovely guys, and the initial price seemed competitive. However, the quality of the windows is poor, and the craftsmanship is sloppy. We've experienced issues with the astrogal bars, which were simply taped on with white sticky tape and have since bowed in the sun. This happened after only one summer. They also didn't finish the job in one go, leaving us with half done windows, a leak and several other issues. Communication with VL has been extremely unorganized and unpredictable. There seems to be a significant lack of quality control, resulting in unprofessional conduct and a generally frustrating experience. Overall: While the price and the installers were good, we cannot recommend VL due to the poor quality of the windows, sloppy craftsmanship, and disorganized communication.

Excellent installation experience by Michael and his team. They installed a wonderful set of bi-folding doors across the back wall of our kitchen and the integrated window blinds, which I would recommend, were fantastic! Michael and.his team also installed another set of double glazed patio doors and a double glazed window in our extention again providing a wonderful experience.....have  recommended Michael and his team to family and friends and will continue to do so.......well done lads and thanks for everything you have done.......

VL Windows have just completed all windows, 2 sets of sliding doors, and are about to install seamless gutter and front door when we’re ready for it as part of a full refurbishment. Were recommended to us, they were the best price of 4 quotes by a way, best communication, quickest lead time, small friendly team assigned to us completed installation in short of 3 days, very helpful throughout the process. Brilliant workmanship from VL Windows - had a front door, side panel and 3 windows supplied and fitted by the company to enclose a porch. They help you through the design process to make sure the new work matches the house. High quality products, worked quickly and we are very pleased with the outcome. This is a terrible company. Fine, if the job is straightforward, but we hit a snag (having paid a very high price for the guttering work they did on our conservatory) and they completely refused to follow up even after several very polite phone calls and emails. I would absolutely not do business with this company again. The resultant damage to our conservatory due to their inadequate guttering work has caused us a lot of expense and trouble. I’m sure they’re fine if your job is straightforward, but if you need quality workmanship or a difficult job I would absolutely stay away from them.
